Mission:

Assist the priest at Mass and other Liturgical Celebrations.  Open to all parish members in 4th Grade through 12th Grade who have received First Eucharist.

Altar Server Training:

Training is offered for students wishing to serve as altar servers. Any child who is in the 4th through 12th grade and has made first Communion is eligible to serve. Interested children are required to attend both the Altar Server Orientation and the available training sessions. Training is typically held once a year and is publicized in the bulletin.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Altar Servers are scheduled to serve weekend Masses, holy days, and special Masses throughout the year.  

Time spent as an Altar Server can be used as Community Service Hours for sacramental and school programs. 

Time Commitment:

Varies, usually two to three Masses per month.
